Iliana Kosti is a lawyer in Athens, Greece. She has a law degree and a master’s degree in civil law from the Law School of the Democritus University of Thrace.
She is a PhD candidate in Personal Data and Artificial Intelligence at the University of the Aegean.
Her fields of research include the application of the principles of transparency and explainability in the social media algorithms, the examination of bias in artificial intelligence, and the intellectual property rights of the artificial intelligence systems (“artificial creativity”).
She has been practicing law since 2008 in the fields of intellectual and industrial property law, privacy law, personal data, technology law, telecommunications law, civil and commercial law and litigation.
She is a substitute Board Member of the Hellenic Industrial Property Academy.
